AWP TEAM MEMBERS TO PRESIDE OVER LOCAL ATSSA CHAPTERS

Press Releases, Team AWP, March 10, 2016

Members from three State Chapters for the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) have elected AWP personnel as their 2016-2018 Presidents-Elect. ATSSA Ohio elected Eric Hulme, AWP Director of Compliance, Training & Engineering. ATSSA Indiana elected Pat McCarty, AWP Work Zone Safety Engineer, and ATSSA Michigan elected Thanh Nguyen, AWP Area Trainer. Each of the men will then be the official ATSSA State Chapter President from 2018 to 2020.

As President-Elect to their respective chapters, each will perform the Chapter President’s duties in the event of the President’s temporary disability or absence from meetings, and will have such other duties as the Chapter President may assign.

Once Mr. Hulme, Mr. McCarty, and Mr. Nguyen hold the official offices as Presidents, they will be the principal executive officer of their Chapters, and will preside at meetings of the Chapters and will be members ex-officio, with the right to vote on all committees except the Nominating Committee. As Presidents, the three will also communicate to the members or the respective Boards of Directors such matters and make such suggestions to promote the welfare and increase the usefulness of the Chapters. They will perform other duties as necessary to the offices of President or as directed by the Boards of Directors.
