The AWP Safety Internship Program is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in a wide range of fields and offers a unique opportunity for professional growth. We believe the skills and training received in this program will help propel our participants into true professionals in their areas of interest.

Program Details
- Duration: 8-10 weeks
- Available Focus Areas:
Accounting, Data Analytics, IT, Marketing, HR, Business Development, Sales - Start Dates: Between May 20 – June 3
- End Dates: Between Aug 2 – Aug 16

The AWP Internship Program offers students:
FLEXIBILITY
Internships are offered Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, Year-long internships are also available for certain fields.
COMPENSATION
All positions are paid.

Meet Caleb
Caleb Herring is a 2023 AWP Safety summer intern alumni. He was a University of Akron student, looking to gain real-world experience and learn about Human Resources.
At AWP I have found a supportive environment where each day provides an opportunity to grow.
As an HR intern, Caleb learned how both Human Resources and AWP Safety operate and, upon graduation, we offered him a full-time position. Caleb is now a full-time AWP Safety employee, working as an HR Recruiter.
