Job Description
AWP Safety is seeking a talented Corporate Accounting Manager to partner with the SVP, Corporate Controller. This is a high-profile role that will interact with external stakeholders as well as internal stakeholders enterprise wide on various aspects of Consolidations, Reporting, Treasury, M&A, and integrations. The role will have an emphasis on developing systems/processes that are scalable and sustainable, maintaining compliance with various reporting requirements, and assisting teammates in the broader Controllership as needed. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounting, this role works closely with accounting, finance, M&A, and integrations partners to ensure accurate data and information gathering and presentation to various stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the consolidation of multiple trial balances in our consolidation software, OneStream
- Provide standard reporting from OneStream on a monthly basis and Ad Hoc reporting as needed
- Participate in the annual external audit process
- Prepare monthly/quarterly debt continuation notices and manage other communications with debt holders
- Partner with the FP&A team on preparing the quarterly compliance certifications
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reporting for our AR Securitization facility
- Account for hedging transactions using quarterly valuation updates
- Partner with other corporate departments such as Payroll, Fleet, FP&A, integration and others to ensure appropriate accounting, accruals and other items are captured in the financial statements
- Financial consolidation for monthly reports to the Executive Team and private equity owners / Board of Directors
- M&A support as needed, with a focus on opening balance sheet accounting for newly acquired businesses.
- Post acquisition support for accounting operations integration, such as implementing standard accounting policies and procedures as needed.
- Consolidated equity and cash flow statement preparation and reporting
- Ad-hoc reporting to private equity owners
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting for various initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university is required. MAcc or MBA is a plus
- 6-10 years of accounting experience required, 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Knowledge and experience working in OneStream, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Great Plains are a plus
- Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with ERP and MS Office products
- Superior listening, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-changing environment
- Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Hours of operation may vary based on staffing needs and workload
- Majority of time will be in an office setting
- Position may lift or carry objects up to 20 pounds

Compensation: $110K – 120K base + 10% AIP Bonus
The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
