Arizona Team Packs Lunches to Support the Feed My Starving Children Organization

Through the AWP Safety Community Giving program, the Arizona team has helped support a very worthy cause – Feed My Starving Children, an organization dedicated to feeding children in need around the world.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit working to ensure no children are left hungry. FMSC supports the entire process of getting food to malnourished children. The organization first uses donations, like AWP Safety’s, to fund nutritious meal ingredients. Then FMSC engages with community volunteers to help hand-pack meals for distribution, and leverages partnerships throughout the world to deliver meals where they are needed most. The program’s food distribution partners stay with communities for the long haul, empowering underprivileged communities to move from relief to development.

Rosario Marquez, an AWP Safety employee, submitted FMSC for AWP Safety’s Community Giving program consideration, which was gladly accepted by the committee. In addition to AWP Safety’s monetary donation, 17 Arizona team members volunteered their time to help pack lunches for distribution through the organization’s global network.

Volunteering with FMSC was truly a meaningful experience for the AWP Safety team.
