AWP HELPS KICK OFF THE MARINE CORPS MARATHON 2016 EVENT SERIES
AWP helped the Marine Corps Marathon Event Series kick off the running season with their first event of the year, the Marine Corps 17.75k. AWP provided special event traffic control design and race coordination for the event, and all the necessary lane closures, detours, and traffic control devices and equipment.
Nearly 2,000 runners from thirty-five states participated in the event. AWP is proud to have been part of the development and implementation of this event. We look forward to doing the same for the Marine Corps Historic Half, which takes place May 15, and for the remainder of the special events in the 2016 series.
