Job Description

The Operations Assistant will play an important role in the company’s growth by assisting the Operations Manager with multiple projects and duties; coordinating repairs, inbound/outbound calls, maintenance, and follow-up with customers after work is complete to ensure satisfaction. Performing multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness, high levels of diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion when dealing with customers and other department staff.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Will Assist with Fleet Administration duties such as in Registrations, Ordering Fleet related supplies, and other misc. duties.
  • Update safety spreadsheet(s) and keep track of certification expiration dates.
  • Add all completed safety documents to share drive each week and update bulletin boards at each branch/region.
  • Support Customer Service Associate/front desk and answer phones as needed.
  • Manage customer calls regarding current jobs/projects as needed when General Manager is out in the field.
  • Assist with booking/scheduling travel for regional team members.
  • Branch inventory organization, tracking, and record keeping as needed.
  • Coordinate and consolidate office supply orders for all branch/regions.
  • Assist other departments with filling documents and reporting as needed.
  • Other misc. duties as directed by General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of Office administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Construction Safety and traffic control solutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures to meet local and state requirements.
  • Knowledge of Union process and policies a plus
  • Hours of operation may vary based on staffing needs and workload
  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing walking, and driving.
  • Regular exposure to all weather conditions in combination with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
  • The majority of time will be in an office setting- 90% office and 10% out in the field.
  • May need to lift or carry objects up to 30 pounds.

The hiring range for this position in $19-23 per hour.
