AWP Safety Appoints Craig Young as Chief Information Officer to Drive Digital Transformation and Customer Innovation

North Canton, Ohio – AWP Safety, North America’s leader in in professional traffic control and safety services, has appointed Craig Young as chief information officer (CIO). His arrival signals a bold next step in the company’s digital evolution — one focused on helping infrastructure customers operate more safely, efficiently, and intelligently in a fast-changing, tech-driven world.

As CIO, Young will shape AWP Safety’s enterprise technology strategy and lead efforts to unify the company’s digital infrastructure. His leadership will enhance real-time data access, boost responsiveness, and create a seamless digital experience for customers.

Young’s appointment supports AWP Safety’s larger commitment to digital integration, automation, and data transparency as the industry adapts to labor shortages, rising regulatory demands, and increasing pressure for visibility and accountability. His leadership ensures AWP Safety remains ahead of the curve, delivering both innovation and impact where it matters most: the field.

With more than three decades in enterprise technology, Young has led digital modernization efforts across multiple industries. He previously served as chief technology officer at Tillman FiberCo and as global CIO at SWIFT, the world’s leader in financial messaging systems. He also held senior leadership roles at Verizon and Verizon Wireless focused on consumer commerce and enterprise platforms.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Young holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from Bellevue University and completed executive training at IESE Business School. He is an active member of several business and technology advisory boards.
