AWP Safety Appoints Brian Robinson as Chief Financial Officer to Elevate Value Creation and Financial Performance
North Canton, Ohio – AWP Safety, North America’s leader in professional traffic control and safety services, has appointed Brian Robinson as chief financial officer (CFO). His arrival signals the next steps in AWP Safety’s value-creation agenda — one focused on sharper forecasting, stronger working capital discipline, and disciplined investment to support the company’s scalable growth.

As CFO, Robinson will partner closely with commercial and operations leaders to elevate financial performance visibility, accelerate cash conversion, and prioritize capital investment to the company’s highest-impact priorities.
“Brian adds portfolio-grade discipline to our strong finance team,” said Rob Sehnert, president and chief executive officer. “He will sharpen our forecasting, accelerate cash, and support smart investment and integration as we deliver for our customers and private equity investors.”
Robinson’s appointment supports AWP Safety’s aggressive, disciplined growth trajectory — bringing stronger working capital performance and aligned capital allocation as demand accelerates. His leadership builds on a strong finance foundation and equips AWP Safety to invest where it matters most, integrate new capabilities and acquisitions at pace, and scale confidently for customers.
With nearly 35 years of experience in financial leadership, Robinson has specialized in private equity portfolio companies for the last decade. He previously served as chief financial officer at RelaDyne, an established leader in lubricant and fuel distribution and services, Dubois Chemicals, and IT infrastructure company Getronics. He also held senior leadership roles at Pomeroy and General Cable Corporation.
Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Dayton and is a former Certified Public Accountant.
“What stands out at AWP Safety is the pride in protecting people and a customer-first mindset,” Robinson said. “I am excited to partner with our teams so our financial engine supports safer worksites, smart investments in capacity and capability, and durable value for all stakeholders.”
